I joined Oakpark in February 2022, and from day one, I’ve been surrounded by an incredible team and countless opportunities to learn and grow. My love for animals has been lifelong—going all the way back to grade 6, when I won my class speech competition on “How to Convince Your Parents to Let You Get a Dog.”

Growing up in a hockey family, I played competitive hockey at the Junior level and briefly at university. I spent my summers as a hockey coach at a local hockey camp and had always enjoyed mixing my love for hockey and teaching little ones the basics! While I originally studied to become an Early Childhood Educator and did so until 2021, life opened new doors that led me to pursue my passion for working with animals.

Outside of work, you can usually find me enjoying a walk with my dog Maizy, or curled up with my two cats, Meeko and Marleau. My partner has also adopted these pastimes as we have created a happy furry family that keeps life exciting!
