My name is Jess, and I love the work that I do! I grew up playing soccer with my dad and spending time with my childhood dog, Cleo. From a young age, my dream has been to attend the Ontario Veterinary College and become a veterinarian.The past two years at Oakpark have been transformative. Even after facing rejection twice, the experience pushed me to grow and keep striving toward my goals. Oakpark not only shaped me into who I am today but also gave me the opportunity to care for animals with dedication and compassion.

Now, I’m thrilled to share that I’ve been accepted into OVC as part of the Class of 2029. I’m beyond excited to finally pursue my dream, and I’m deeply grateful to Oakpark for guiding me on this journey and for teaching me what it truly means to give animals the best care possible.

I continue to work at Oakpark where I happily am able to assist the veterinarians with various procedures, and spend time with all the lovely pets that come in!
