Dr. Matthieu Taillon was born and raised in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. He earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2024, after completing a Bachelor of Science in Physiology and Pharmacology. His passion for animals began early—growing up with family dogs, volunteering at the local animal shelter, and traveling to Nepal to work with their animal welfare society. His dad, a human surgeon, sparked his interest in medicine early on. His professional interests include diagnostic medicine, oncology, and soft tissue surgery. Outside the clinic, Dr. Taillon enjoys curling, traveling, and spending time outdoors with his fiancée and their Miniature Husky, Blue. He’s committed to making every visit a positive experience for both you and your furry companions.
