Dr. Kim Hester
Dr. Kim Hester is originally from Milton, Ontario. She completed her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the Ontario Veterinary College, graduating with honours in 2013. Prior to Oakpark, Dr. Kim worked at several companion animal hospitals in Toronto, and has extensive experience working with small mammal and avian/exotic pets. Dr. Kim’s current areas of professional interests include canine and feline internal medicine, clinical and anatomic pathology, as well as learning minimally invasive diagnostic and surgical techniques. She also has a strong interest and appreciation for veterinary communication and the human-animal bond. Outside of veterinary medicine, she enjoys exploring the outdoors and hiking, loves music, and sings in a choir based out of Toronto. She currently cares for a Lineolated parakeet named Sprout and a collie mix dog named Flash. Dr. Kim is thrilled to be a member of the Oakpark team and looks forward to meeting you and your pets at your next visit.
